Our new Summer menu has just been launched along with some exciting new cocktails and great tasting local ales, obviously the Guinness is still on!
To help you to get into the mood, our theme is a warm rustic feel with funky seating and chunky solid wood tables along with some stylish industrial light fittings all creating a warm ambience, with some brilliant live acoustic acts and great chill music.

After opening our doors in February 2019, the privately owned , independent Riva Cocktail Bar & Restaurant has just had our first birthday party. Riva is well and truly up and running, receiving some really lovely reviews from customers that have sampled our offerings and we now find ourselves as the No.1 restaurant in Hale according to Trip Advisor.
When we decided to open Riva it was always our sole objective to offer our customers a truly welcoming and relaxing experience, providing a variety of great drinks, fantastic food and a really, really great vibe with both our house chill music and also our regular live acoustic music acts.

Music at Riva
Whether you like Jazz, Soul, maybe a little bit of Rock and roll, old classics or some of today’s best music- whatever you’re in to, we have something for everybody. We host acoustic musicians and singers all year around every Thursday Night from 7.30pm but we will have a few special event sessions just to mix things up a bit.
